Antenatal Shared Care

Dr Li Yan is an experienced GP who is accredited to provide Shared Antenatal Care with the Dandenong, Frankston, Casey, Monash Medical Centre & Sandringham Hospitals. She enjoy’s providing this service and finds it very rewarding.

Shared Antenatal Care enables women to be seen regularly by their Doctor of choice who is familiar with their medical history. It reduces the number of Hospital visits and waiting times at Hospital Outpatient Clinics.

A shared antenatal record is completed by the GP and the Hospital.

Please inform our Reception Staff that an antenatal consultation is required when booking an appointment.

Certain medical conditions such as diabetes may mean that women are not suitable for shared antenatal care. This can be discussed with Dr Yan.

Pre and post natal care is also important and offered.
