Dr Ehab Mostokly graduated from Medical University in Egypt in 1985. He obtained a Masters Degree in Paediatrics.
He migrated to Australia with his family in 2004 after working for 20 years as Paediatrician, GP and Medical Administrator in Egypt.
He completed a Diploma in Paediatrics at Westmead Children’s Hospital, NSW & became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
In 2009 Ehab was awarded Australian New Rural Doctor of the Year for his dedication to the community and contribution to teach international medical graduates.
Ehab has a keen interest in Quality Practice improvements in general practice. In 2018 he came an Accreditation Surveyor. Ehab enjoys the opportunities this role presents and enjoys visiting other clinics and meeting new people.
Ehab is also a tutor for overseas trained doctors and he takes great pride in assisting international medical graduates in their preparation for the AMC exams. Ehab is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He opened Ballarto Medical Centre in Carrum Downs together with Dr Li Yan in 2012, and St Mary Medical Centre in Carrum Downs with Dr Li Yan and Dr Awad William Ghattas in 2018.
Ehab was the GP representative for the Child Health Alliance for the Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Area as well a member of the Paediatric Clinical Network in 2012- 2014. He has played a fundamental part in the development of many projects including the development of the Peninsula Pathways: A Children’s Services Resource Directory linking families and essential community services together.
Ehab has excellent experience as a family doctor and special interest in Paediatrics.
Ehabs hobbies are travelling, swimming, reading and playing chess. He also enjoys family time with his 3 adult sons.
Besides English, Ehab speaks Arabic fluently.
